  • Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function

I installed the theme on a local computer to develop my site and it works fine.
But as soon as I want to move it onto a live site, whatever the method I use, it doesn't work.
When I attempt to log in into web site as administrator, I get an error returned by the theme which is:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function

Could you please help me by giving me a hint about what could be wrong?
    Thanks’ in advance.

    Kind Regards,
  • Hi,

please use a valid account to post support queries. This forum area here is not for theme support.

The issue you are experiencing is related to : mysql_escape_string

Which is not available on newer Version of PHP. However, we are not using the command in our theme. Its mostly used by plugins such as slider plugins. Or plugins which have own tables inside the Database.

You can search for mysql_escape_string in your code and replace it with mysqli_escape_string
